What is the ServiceBox?

ServiceBox is a network device that enables the remote access and controll (teleservice) of remote industrial machineries. It gives the opportunity to analyze and correct anomalies from anywhere with just a small configuration burden.

ServiceBox is given with a wide variety of interfaces and can be reached from the Internet through:

  • Cabled ethernet
  • WiFi
  • Cellular networks (GSM / GPRS / 3G)
  • Analog link (traditional modem)

Virtual links are realized through "tunnels" which enable the use of whatever port despite the firewall configuration, being however fully compliant to the security policies present at the remote site.

Besides, it is also possible not to use the client's LAN as the device provides 3G access.

Summing up, with ServiceBox it is like having a virtual LAN cable directly connected to the machines to maintain and it is:

  • Cheap
  • Easy
  • Secure
  • Complete
  • Flexible
