BoxManager

BoxManager is the central component in our architecture. BoxManager is installed on a server dedicated to you (an only to you) within our server farm or, if you prefer, on a server of your own. If needed it is possible to set up a backup server as well.

When a ServiceBox is turned on, it logs on the BoxManager pointed by its configuration and it will be ready to accept and route secure connections toward the automation LAN connected to it.

All the connections to the BoxManager are driven by Serviceboxes and thus are encrypted; this makes our solution compliant to the common security policies and makes the its deployment extremely firewall-friendly (as the connection are in-out over trusted ports).

Via BoxManager it is possible to manage a fine-grained user access controll by selecting which user is capable to access which ServiceBox or device present to the automation LAN connected to it. Furthermore it is possible to monitor and log all the teleservice sessions, having in this way an history of all the interventions.
